About the Lincoln Synagogue

Welcome to the Lincolnshire Jewish Community in Lincoln, affiliated to Liberal Judaism and members of
the Board of Deputies of British Jews.
Our Lincoln Synagogue was founded in 1992 and is situated in the heart of Lincoln's cultural quarter.

We hold regular Shabbat and Erev Shabbat services including services over the High Holy Days.
A communal Seder Night and Chanukah lighting are among festivals celebrated.

We also offer Hebrew classes and conversion courses to potential members of our community.

The Lincolnshire Jewish Community aims to provide a friendly Jewish home to any residents, students and visitors to the City of Lincoln.

In Jewish Law the preservation of human life takes precedence over virtually all other religious rules.
In view of the current pandemic we have decided to suspend upcoming physical services until further notice,
although we are hosting many online services, details of these can be obtained by completing the form on the 'contact us' page.
You may also virtually attend the Northwood and Pinner services from their Facebook page, one of the many Liberal communities now streaming services online.
